As an associate researcher at the Latin American Center on Sexuality and Human Rights, he has participated in research projects on sexuality, gender, human rights, mental health, and the internet. He is executive editor of Sexuality, Health and Society - Latin American Journal, and of the Brazilian Journal of International Affairs.
