Saskia Isabella Maria Korsten

Saskia Isabella Maria Korsten is an Amsterdam based new media scholar, interdisciplinary artist, lecturer of contemporary art practice and theory and as such affiliated with the Theory in the Arts Professorship at ArtEZ University of the Arts. She regularly speaks at international conferences and publishes articles. She is also part of the artist duo Korsten & De Jong, which conducts Artistic Research together. In all her work, Korsten iconsistently interested in posing questions about the systems she is part of. She tries to grasp notions and possibilities that otherwise might dissolve in methodology.

Semâ Bekirović

Semâ Bekirović studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. Her work has been exhibited at De Appel (Amsterdam), Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam), Hayward Gallery Project Space (London), Dutch Culture Institute (Shanghai) and on Times Square (NYC). Bekirović’s work is best described as playful conceptualism. Like reality, it’s a universe of temporary constellations wherein objects, people, animals and/or chemical reactions trigger one another into acting out their parts in a play directed by coincidence (Marcus Bruystens).
